About God
We believe in one God who eternally exists as three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). God alone is the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of the universe. Jesus is the Son of God. He became human to reveal God to us and to become the Savior of the world. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son, and lives within all true Christians.
About the Scriptures
We hold that the Holy Bible was authored by men who were divinely inspired, serving as a testament to God's revelation to humanity. The Bible represents an invaluable source of divine guidance and stands as the ultimate benchmark for evaluating human behavior. We affirm that the entire Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, conveying His will for mankind and serving as the ultimate authority in the Christian faith, as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
About Man
We believe man was created in the image of God as the crowning work of creation. Man was originally created without sin, but freely chose to disobey God and thereby brought sin upon the entire human race. Only the grace of God can restore fellowship with God.
About Salvation
We hold the conviction that personal salvation and the forgiveness of sins are made possible through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ, recognizing the universal need for God's grace and mercy. We affirm that salvation is freely available to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This process of salvation is an act of God's grace, transforming sinners into forgiven children of God through faith in and adherence to Jesus.
About the Church
We believe the Church to be the body of Christ, which includes all who have trusted in Jesus throughout all ages. The church exists to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to others.
About Baptism
Baptism is viewed as a significant step that should occur after an individual has made a commitment to trust and follow Jesus. We perform water baptisms for all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and wish to publicly declare their association with Him, in line with biblical teachings. This practice is supported by scriptures such as Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, and Romans 6:4. We understand Christian baptism to be the immersion of a believer in water, conducted in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This act represents the believer's faith in the resurrected Savior and signifies their death to sin.
About The Holy Spirit
We affirm the ongoing supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, whose mission is to exalt Jesus Christ and to guide and empower each believer for a life of holiness and service. We hold that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a promise from the Father available to all believers and occurs distinctly after the experience of being born again. The act of speaking in tongues, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, serves as a tangible sign of this baptism. This baptism follows the cleansing of the heart and is evidenced initially by the ability to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enables.
About End Times
We hold the belief in the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, which will be marked by the physical resurrection of those who have passed away in Christ. This is supported by scriptures such as Matthew 24:29-31 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We trust that God, in His own timing and manner, will bring the world to its destined conclusion. Jesus will return in person and visibly, in glory, to the earth. The deceased will be resurrected, and Christ will judge all humanity. Those who are righteous, through their faith in Jesus, will receive resurrected and glorified bodies. They will be rewarded and will dwell eternally in heaven with the Lord.
